The great inventory debate

Many are surprised to learn that a local carpet store carries a more extensive inventory than the big box stores. They carry only the items that sell and bring them profits. If you want something different or unique, come to a local store.  If we don’t have it, we can easily order it for you, and we can always order it if it isn’t in stock.

Another myth debunked:  We’re more affordable

The big box stores are not less expensive. Their goal is to get you into the store, not necessarily to provide the sale price. While an ad might look tempting, read the paper's fine print for restrictions and exclusions. There’s also overhead to consider; after all, someone has to pay for that advertising.

Like Massud & Son, local stores aren't controlled by the vendors who set prices and frown upon it if they're changed. We’re able to negotiate with them, especially during promotions, and are at liberty to provide our discounts and rebates.
